Master of Arts in History and Political Thought

 

Concentrations: History, Political Science, or Both 

Thesis: 30 Semester Credit Hours
Non-Thesis: 33 Semester Credit Hours
Double Concentration: 36 Semester Credit Hours


Program Information:
The program provides students with the research, writing and evaluation skills necessary to further graduate studies and for a variety of advanced careers in history, government and/or education.
 
Career Opportunities:
Private and Public Schools, Museums, Federal, State and Local Agencies, Libraries, Parks and Historic Sites, Anthropologist, Park Naturalist and Archaeologist.
 
Program Requirements:

  • Personal statement: Typed, minimum 300-word personal statement that briefly describes your career goals, aspirations, and timetable for completion of your proposed graduate studies
