Master of Science in Psychology

Program Information:
The Master of Science in Psychology prepares you to apply the science of psychology to a wide variety of professional settings. The program focuses on a broad background in research-based psychology, from social, experimental, and cognitive, to developmental psychology, as well as providing a background in research methods and design.

Career Opportunities:
Federal, State and Local Government Agencies, Private and Public School, College and University Advising Centers, Consulting and Market Research, United Way Agencies, Staffing and Employment Services, Service Providers, Financial Institutions, Community College and University Teaching.

Program Requirements:

  • Two letters of recommendation: 1 academic and 1 professional
  • Sample of academic writing skills (Undergraduate research paper, a book chapter, or journal article)
  • Personal Statement: Typed, minimum 300-word personal statement that describes your career goals, aspirations, and timetable for program completion
