Our resident network is managed by Extensive Networks, they have customer support available by phone and e-mail 24 hours per day. Troubleshooting of many issues can be completed over the telephone from the Help Desk, for items with additional complexity the Help Desk will forward your request to our local IT support group who will assign your concern to a technician. The technician will make contact with you to schedule an appointment to help you resolve your issue. The TAMIU Office of Information Technology does not provide help desk support for the residences, students who reach out to OIT will be redirected to Extensive Networks for assistance.

We do have courtesy phones on the first floor of every residence hall and in the community center at University Village.
