PARKING AREAS – All PARKING RULES, REGULATIONS AND ENFORCEMENT, including those outlined here, are handled by the Texas A&M International University Police Department any questions should be directed to their office at 956-326-2100. All resident vehicles, including motorcycles, which are operated on the campus shall be registered with the University Police Department. Permits are currently not required for general parking on the campus.
MOTORCYCLES – Motorcycles and all other motorized two or three-wheeled vehicles shall be licensed for operation on public roadways and shall be registered and only parked in a properly marked parking space.
A resident's vehicle may be towed immediately, without notice, for the following violations:
YOUR VEHICLE IS PARKED:
IN A FIRE ZONE, TOW AWAY ZONE, NO PARKING ZONE
IN A HANDICAPPED SPACE WITHOUT PROPER IDENTIFICATION
BLOCKING ANOTHER VEHICLE
IN THE GRASS, ON SIDEWALKS, OR ON CURBS
BLOCKING AN ENTRANCE OR EXIT
VIOLATIONS OF OTHER UNIVERSITY PARKING RULES AND REGULATIONS (as applicable)
All resident vehicles must be in operating condition and properly registered; vehicles not in compliance will be towed at Vehicle Owner’s expense. Resident may not maintain, repair or wash vehicles on the property. Vehicles, including but not limited to, that incur any of the following violations listed below may be noticed with a warning and given 24 hours to correct the violation before the vehicle is towed unless other arrangements have been made with TAMIU PD and the Office of Housing & Residence Life:
VEHICLES WITH EXPIRED PLATES OR INSPECTION STICKER
VEHICLES ABANDONED OR NOT BEING DRIVEN. (Tenant may not store commercial vehicles, boats, campers, trailers, or large recreational vehicles.)
Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
*office hours may vary during the semester depending on the univeristy calendar
