The Texas State Tourist Center

15551 N IH35 at US83 Exit 18, 5 miles north of the Border Patrol checkpoint Ph: 956.417.4728

You see this lovely building on the east of  I 35, a few miles north of the checkpoint.  It is a pleasant place to picnic - ponds, a garden and an office filled with tourist information on many Texas destinations.

Laredo Little Theatre

A community theatre that welcomes amateurs to act, direct and work backstage.  Presents 4 or more plays yearly including summer children’s productions.

This minor league team plays at 2 stadiums in 2 countries, here and in Nuevo Laredo.  Season runs April to July.  Most games are in the evenings.
