Representatives from Texas A&M International University will visit the Cigarroa Community Center, 2201 Zacatecas, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18 to provide the public with bilingual information about the University.
Dubbed "Come Home to Your University," the lively, informative presentation will let the community know that higher education is an affordable and accessible necessity.
The free event will provide an opportunity for informal visits with University faculty, students, alumni and staff. University personnel will also assist attendees with financial aid information and admissions applications.
Additionally, current students and graduates from the center area's neighborhood will offer their individual perspectives on the University and higher education.
Free refreshments will be provided and the University's performance groups will provide entertainment.

Tuesday, Jan. 23 - Farias Community Center, 1601 Farias, 795-3040
Thursday, Jan. 25 - K. Tarver Community Center, 2902 Tilden, 795-3055.
Tuesday, Feb. 6 - Northeast Hillside Community Center, 320 Wyoming, 795-3045.
Registration at each free event begins at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation to start at 7 p.m. Free refreshments will be provided at each event.
