Texas A&M International University's Academic Enrichment Center is offering free instructional workshops to help students succeed on the math portion of the Texas Academic Skills Program (TASP).
The free Math TASP workshops will cover Chapters 10 - 21 of the Official TASP Study Guide, with a different chapter covered each Friday through February 21. Workshops will be offered both in the mornings and afternoons for the convenience of students.
Schedule for the Math TASP Workshops is as follows: Chapters 12 and 13, January 24; Chapters 14 and 15, January 31 Chapter 16 and 17, February 7; Chapter 18 and 19 February 14; and Chapters 20 and 21, February 21.
Morning workshops will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building room 205. Instructor will be Miguel San Miguel.
Afternoon workshops will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building room 205. Instructor will be Trina Garza.
Students are asked to pre-register to attend any Math TASP Workshop by calling the Academic Enrichment Center at 326-2130 or by visiting the office located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building room 203.
The Academic Enrichment Center is open from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, and 12:00 noon - 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
