WBCA Pops Concert at TAMIU Feb. 4

 

The Washington's Birthday Celebration Association's Twilight Pops Concert will be held at Texas A&M International University on Friday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. on the University Green. This event is free and open to the public. Performance groups will include the TAMIU Symphonic Band and the TAMIU Orchestra. (photo)

A patriotic children's contest will be held, with trophies for the winners. Student groups will be selling refreshments. Guests can bring picnic blankets and listen to red, white and blue music as the stars begin to shine in South Texas. In case of inclement weather, the concert will move to the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall.
