Registration Goes On-Line at TAMIU on Monday
This Monday, it's the end of the line for registration at Texas A&M
International University.
On Monday, Nov. 15, the University will launch web-based registration.
The on-line services will provide new web-based access, updates and registration
capabilities. Students will be able to register for Spring 2005 classes.
The conventional arena registration of the past will no longer be held.
University registrar Oscar Reyna explained that four simple steps can
get students started towards on-line registration.
"It's a simple four-step process that can provide a diverse array
of services that our students will find incredibly beneficial," said
University registrar Oscar Reyna.
Reyna explained the process:
1. Log on to tamiu.edu
2. Click on "Students" on the left of page and then "LASSO"
(or click here!)
3. Click on "Login to Student Services"
4. Enter SSN or Campus ID in Student ID field and date of birth in 6-digit
format for PIN and click "Login."
He explained that these four steps lead the student to the main menu,
which provides services grouped into Student Records, Personal Information,
Registration and Schedule, Course Catalog and Available Course Sections
and Financial Aid.
In addition to accessing on-line services through their own computers
and University labs, dedicated computers are also available in the Registrar's
Office lobby.
