TAMIU-SBDC Business Plan Workshop Friday at Laredo Development Foundation

The Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU-SBDC) will sponsor a business plan workshop Friday, November 16, 2007, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Laredo Development Foundation, 616 Leal Street.

 Fee for the seminar is $20, and each participant will receive Linda Pinzón's "Anatomy of a Business Plan: a Step-by-Step Guide to Building a Business and Securing your Company's Future," a $50 value.

Planning is your map to success in the business world.  You need to write a business plan if you are:

*Starting or buying a business

*Financing or refinancing your business

*Raising debt or equity capital

A business plan helps you find hidden business flaws and makes you think carefully about each phase of your business.

It is important that you write your business plan in order to gain in-depth knowledge about your business, making it easier to answer lenders' questions.  The process of writing your business plan will clarify what is involved in making your business work successfully.
