No Lines for TAMIU Spring 2005 Registration
This new year at Texas A&M International University the only lines
for Spring Semester registration will be electronic. The campus is now
conducting all registration on-line through a web-based system on the
University's home page.
Students have only to click on https://lasso.tamiu.edu/ahomepg.htm
to register, view course catalog and available course selections, check
student records and financial aid.
University registrar Oscar Reyna said the new system, which launched
in November , is a hit.
"We've been delighted with the response from students. Everyone
is happy with the ease of the system from registration to holds checking
to payment. It's a user-friendly system that students are finding incredibly
beneficial," Reyna explained.
Reyna noted students are even signing up for courses while on their
holiday break.
