Texas A&M International University invites everyone who wants to get in shape to attend a free lunchtime talk on fitness training on Wednesday, February 25 from 12 noon - 1 p.m. in Kinesiology/Convocation Building.
The talk, titled "Fitness Through Aerobic and Resistance Training," will be presented by fitness expert Mickey Bower of HEST Fitness.
Persons who attend the talk may bring their lunch to the presentation. Beverages and light snacks will be served.
The talk is part of a series of free lunchtime talks sponsored through the University's Safety, Health, and Wellness Initiative. Other scheduled lunchtime talks include: "Rites of Spring: Preventing and Overcoming Sports Injuries" to be presented March 4 and "Sexual Diversity Panel Discussion," April 29.
Both upcoming talks will be held from 12 noon - 1 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 101.
