City-wide Financial Aid Fair Set at TAMIU March 7

Financial Aid Fair Set
at TAMIU March 7

Make plans to attend the annual Texas A&M International University Financial Aid Fair, Tuesday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the University Green.

The fair is free and open to the public, but high school seniors and their parents are especially encouraged to attend. The city-wide Fair will be valuable to anyone considering higher education.

“The Financial Aid Fair is geared at educating students and parents about the funds available to help pay for higher education expenses and the many resources used to find and apply for aid. For this year, we are concentrating on educating students about student loans and borrowing conservatively to help maintain a good credit history,” explained Maria Isabel Woods, Office of Financial Aid associate director.

For more information about the TAMIU 2005 Financial Aid Fair, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at 326.2225, visit offices in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, room 158 or e-mail financialaid@tamiu.edu.

Financial Aid office hours are Monday and Tuesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
