Texas A&M International University students who wish to improve their study and test-taking skills in preparation for mid-term exams may attend a free Study Skills Seminar at the University on March 6.
The Study Skills Seminar will be presented on Thursday, March 6 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building room 212 East.
Seminar topics include test-taking strategies, note taking strategies, and learning to evaluate testing and teaching styles. Students who attend the seminar will receive handouts that outline the study skills information.
The Seminar will be presented by the University's Enrichment Center's Tutoring Center.
For more information on the Study Skills Seminar, students may call the Tutoring Center at 326-2132, or visit the Academic Enrichment Center (AEC) located on the second floor of the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library.
The AEC is open from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, and 12:00 noon - 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
