Texas A&M International University's Office of Career Services at will offer important tips on résumé writing and interviewing skills to students and the community during workshops scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, March 6-7 at 5:30 p.m. at the new Student Center, room 114.
The workshops are held to prepare participants for the upcoming Global Opportunities Job Fair, scheduled at A&M International for Wednesday, March 20. They are free of charge and open to the public.
Virginia García, career services director, said that the March 6 workshop will focus on interviewing skills. The March 7 workshop is on résumé and cover letter preparation.
"On both days, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., we will also offer on-the-spot résumé critiques and interview tips. In addition, we will show a video titled, 'How to Prepare for a Job Fair'," García said, "I encourage everyone attending Global Opportunities to take advantage of these opportunities."

Regular office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Office hours will be 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. only March 11 through March 14. Offices will be closed for Spring Break on Friday, March 15.
University will close March 15-March 17 for Spring Break. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. March 18.
