TAMIU Hosts Financial Aid
Fair Tuesday, March 11
Learn how to finance your or your children’s education at Texas A&M International University’s Financial Aid Fair Tuesday, March 11 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the University’s south lawn next to the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library.

“As our enrollment grows, so has our financial assistance to students. Last year we assisted over 1,100 high school students at the Fair. Thanks to these efforts, TAMIU has paid out $29,355,989.00 in different types of financial aid to students for the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 semesters,” said Laura Elizondo, director, Office of Financial Aid.
“Approximately 71 percent of TAMIU students are receiving some type of financial assistance,” Elizondo added.
Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid early.
The deadline for Summer 2008 is Thursday, May 1; the deadline for Fall 2008 or entire financial aid year 2008-2009 is Saturday, March 15 (priority deadline to compete for additional grants) and Thursday, July 31. The deadline for Spring 2009 is Wednesday, Dec. 3.
