TAMIU Hosts Arts and Humanities Funding Workshop Friday
A chance to explore funding opportunities available from Humanities
Texas and the Texas Commission on the Arts will be held at Texas A&M
International University on Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Pellegrino
Hall 114.
The workshop is hosted by TAMIU's Office of Grant Resources and should
appeal to those interested in applying for funding support from both agencies.
It is free of charge and open to the public.
Presenters include Dr. Eric Lupfer, director of Grants and Education
for Humanities Texas and Mia Andrade, administrator of Community Development
and Rural Services for the Texas Commission on the Arts.
Attendees will learn about mini-grants, community project grants, media
project grants, and various award programs and available services.
Participants will also be able to view a special Humanities Texas-produced
exhibit, "Destination Mexico," providing a colorful overview
of tourism destination promotion of Mexico over eight decades.
