As part of its Wicked Wellness observation this October, Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) will host a Blood Drive with the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center on Monday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Student Center Parking Lot.

Claudia Beltran, TAMIU associate director of Student Health Services, said last year’s drive was successful and the hope is that its results will be topped.

“Last year students and other members of the University community helped us to collect 77 units, so our hope is that we can surpass that record,” Beltran said.

Potential donors must provide identification and complete a brief health history questionnaire to establish their eligibility as a donor. All presenting donors receive a T-shirt.
