TAMIU’s ‘Voices in the Monte’ Features Author Lindsey Lane

Author Lindsey Lane visits TAMIU Feb. 25. will to discuss her novel, “Evidence of Things Not Seen,” and craft Thursday, Feb. 25 in the TAMIU Student Center (SC), room 236.  

Multi-talented author Lindsey Lane is the latest featured writer for the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Writing Center’s “ Voices in the Monte” Writers Series. Lane will to discuss her novel, “Evidence of Things Not Seen,” and craft Thursday, Feb. 25 in the TAMIU Student Center (SC), room 236.

Admission is free and open to the public.

“Every year the TAMIU Writing Center hosts the ‘Voices in the Monte’ Speaker Series. This is a great opportunity for students to hear directly from authors about their work and writing craft,” explained Kimberly Thomas, director, Writing Center.

“This year we are fortunate to have Lindsey Lane, author of ‘Evidence of Things Not Seen.’ Her book chronicles the disappearance of a high school boy, Tommy, by recalling testimonies from those who knew him and saw him last,” added Thomas.

The Talk on Craft is scheduled for noon – 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 and the reading and book signing is scheduled from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Both take place in SC 236.

“This is a great opportunity for students to speak directly to the author and discuss the sensitive subject of human disappearances,” Thomas said.
