University Employees Celebrate TAMIU Enrichment Day Thursday

TED is an annual event saluting TAMIU employees.  

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) full time employees will spend Thursday, May 26 at the University’s annual TAMIU Enrichment Day, from 8 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.

While University offices will remain open, staff and services will be greatly reduced.

The annual event provides professional development sessions to all University employees in a dedicated and relaxed atmosphere.

The University hosts guests speakers and recognizes employees for Employee Service Awards, Outstanding Employee Awards, degree completion, State employee charitable contributions, and support provided the on-campus giving campaign, The Great Stampede. Participants in the University's Leadership Experience Program are also recognized and an update on HealthyU, the University’s Employee Wellness Program, is also provided. Keynote Speaker for the event will be Vicki Sanderson, a national speaker and motivator for diverse industries including business, education and healthcare.

The University’s Office of Human Resources coordinates the event.

University summer office hours, which begin this Thursday, are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon. Offices will be closed Monday, May 30 for a State-authorized Memorial Day observance.
