TAMIU’s Continuing Education Approved as CPE Provider by TEA

Birding Class at TAMIU
Bird Watching 101 is a TAMIU Continuing Education Course.

You don’t have to be enrolled at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) to take advantage of the many events and opportunities offered on campus.

Currently offering non-credit courses and workshops which help improve the quality of life, the University’s Office of Continuing Education was recently approved as a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) provider in Texas by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

TAMIU will be able to offer CPE activities to educators for certificate renewal purposes for Texas public school districts, regional education service centers, accredited institutions of higher education, professional education membership associations, accredited non-public Texas schools, TEA and State Board for Educator Certification.

To request a CPE workshop, contact Mónica de la Garza at ce@tamiu.edu or 956.326.3068.

The Office of Continuing Education currently offers classes to enhance professional and personal lives. Upcoming classes include Online GRE, QuickBooks Pro Live, “Bird Watching 101,” “Yoga for Wellness,” and a knitting class.
