College Choice Ranks TAMIU No. 24 Among 50 Best Colleges and Universities in Texas for 2016-2017

TAMIU gets national recognition  

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is one of the 50 Best Colleges and Universities in Texas for 2016-2017 according to online source, College Choice (collegechoice.net). 

TAMIU ranked No. 24 among the Best 50 Colleges and Universities in Texas, according to College Choice. The University was the highest ranked among regional universities in The Texas A&M University System. 

In its Best Texas Colleges and Universities ranking page (http://www.collegechoice.net/rankings/best-colleges-in-texas/ ) College Choice mentions that Texas is home to 36 public universities and a variety of private higher education institutions, including small liberal arts colleges and large research schools. It notes that the top colleges in Texas are known for their financial accessibility. 

TAMIU currently offers over 80 degrees at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels.

According to College Choice, TAMIU is “one of the best Texas colleges for business and nursing students. It currently holds accreditation for every separate college on campus, making it one of the leading universities in Texas.”

While TAMIU is well known for its academic offerings, prospective students may find the lavish and diverse student life found on campus, College Choice states. 

“From international programs to leadership opportunities, political organizations to intramural teams, students will find their interests reflected in some aspect at this University,” the site states.          

College Choice lists TAMIU’s most popular programs as: 

  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Master of Science in Nursing
  • Doctor of Philosophy in International Business Administration
