TAMIU Summer Sessions Underway

While stages across the city host high school graduations, Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is preparing for what comes next…TAMIU Summer Sessions.

With compressed time schedules, Summer Sessions often offer a great way for students to accelerate, begin or resume undergraduate or graduate degree plans.

Summer Session I began Monday, June 4 and continues  through July 6. 

Summer Session II is July 9 through August 10.  

Summer Session III starts  June 4, also ending August 10.

Pell Grants can be used for Summer Session study.  Details are available at TAMIU’s Financial Aid Office, 956.326.2225, by email at financialaid@tamiu.edu, or at offices in the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center, 214.

To help students set schedules, TAMIU offers TAMIU SchEDUler, a way for students to build their schedules, accommodating outside obligations and preferred learning times, conveniently on their desktop, smartphone or tablet.

Students login to the TAMIU SchEDUler and quickly establish best class times for them. They select courses and faculty, and then review and compare all schedule variations.  They can lock times and courses, save their schedule, and share with their advisor. The University's summer schedule finds offices open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily, Monday-Friday.  Student Services offices will be open Mon-Tues from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Fridays from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
