TAMIU Announces Early Release Friday;  Weekend Closures

On Friday, June 15, TAMIU offices will close at 3 p.m. and University services will be curtailed so that the City of Laredo and SSC can repair water valves throughout the campus. 

Water service at the University will be interrupted for prolonged periods both Friday and Saturday, and so the campus must close. The Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library and Rec Center will also be closed Saturday and Sunday.

Due to the weekend closure, the College of Education Representative Exam has been rescheduled for June 23, 2018.   All candidates approved for June 16, 2018, will be moved over to June 23, 2018.  Questions can be directed to Jeff Pennington, Assistant Professional/ Student Success Coordinator, at 956.326.2688, or the University's Testing Center at 956.326.2131.

The University will reopen for services on Monday, June 18 at 8 a.m.
