TAMIUWorks! Bows as University's New Online Employment System

Possible employment at Texas A&M International University is just a click away using the University's new online employment system, TAMIUWorks!

Launching March 28, TAMIUWorks! is an innovative, Web-based system that offers online recruitment, application and hiring.

The site is located at http://employment.tamiu.edu

Sandra Peña, TAMIU director of Human Resources, said the new initiative keeps in with the University's commitment to use technology to streamline accessibility.

"Online employment systems provide the applicant with a rich array of information about our University, our employment process and an ability to follow the process...all online. Our University has long been a leader in utilizing technology to bridge time and distance and improve accessibility, so this is an important new offering that will have immediate relevance," Peña explained.

Applicants will be able to view job vacancies, create or revise their application, submit applications and track the status of the application as submitted.

The system is available 24 hours, seven days a week and is linked to the University's main site and related sites of interest for potential employees.
