TAMIU Celebrates Women's History Month
Texas A&M International University invites the public to attend
several free events presented at TAMIU throughout March in observance
of Women's History Month.
The TAMIU Women's History Month schedule includes:
Thursday, March 17 - "Tres Vidas" workshop
from noon to 2 p.m. at WHTC 111 and performance at 7:30 p.m. at the Laredo
Center for the Arts. "Tres Vidas" is a chamber music theatre
work conceived and performed by The Core Ensemble featuring Georgina Corbo
as Frida Kahlo, Rufina Amaya and Alfonsina Storni.
Monday, March 28 - Recital by Sylvia Hazlerig at 7:30
p.m. at the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall (CFPA).
Tuesday, March 29 - Brownbag lecture: "Women Composers"
with Sylvia Hazlerig at noon in the CFPA Sam Johnson Black Box Theater.

be scheduled.
