Laredo Community College students interested in transferring to Texas A&M International University can learn about the process at a special Transfer Fair scheduled at the University's Outreach Office on the LCC campus Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, March 25, 26, 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
The University's Outreach Office is located in University Hall room 211. Odilia Cantu, transfer student specialist, said that the Transfer Fair offers an ideal opportunity for students to streamline their transfer.
"Transfer Fair offers LCC students an opportunity to be advised on their degree programs, and receive helpful financial aid counseling. We especially want to encourage those students who are considering transferring for Summer Sessions I or II or the Fall 2003 semester. Other students can also apply and pick up informative materials or meet with representatives from each of the four Colleges ," she said.
College of Business advisors will be available on Tuesday, College of Education advisors Wednesday, and representatives of the Colleges of Arts and and Science and Technology will be present on Thursday.
Office hours for the Outreach Office are from Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and 1:00-5:00 p.m. On Fridays, the Outreach office staff is available at the TAMIU campus.
