Two sections of the course will be offered. Section 2, for IBM users, will be held in the Pentium Computer Lab. Section 3, for Macintosh users, will be held in the Macintosh Computer Lab. Tuition is $75.
The Discovering the Internet course will introduce individuals who have basic computer skills to the wide range of information resources available on the Internet. Topics to be covered include directory assistance, electronic mail, multiple indexes, bulletin boards, news groups, on-line procedures, national information services, conferences, file transfer, and commercial information.
