Texas A&M International University will offer two free ExCET Reviews in April.
An ExCET Review on Elementary and Secondary Professional Development will be offered on Saturday, April 5 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in Building C room 125. The Review will be conducted by Dr. Juan R. Lira, Professor of Education with the University's Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and Dr. Idalia Rodriguez, Associate Professor of Bilingual Education, Department of Special Populations.
Persons who attend the five-hour Review may bring their own snacks and refreshments, if they so desire.
An ExCET Review on Early Childhood Education will be offered on Friday, April 18 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 202. The Review will be conducted by Dr. Linda Medearis, Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education and Chair of the Department of Special Populations.
There is no fee to attend either Review, however, participants must preregister to attend the Reviews by calling the University's Alternative Certification Program at 326-2431.
Review participants must also purchase a copy of the ExCET Workbook prior to the Review session. The Workbook may be purchased at the University's bookstore.
