Texas A&M International University's Office of Continuing Education invites sports-minded adventurers of all ages to register for an "Introduction to Inline Skating" class to be held at the University on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon in Building C room 212.
The class, which is designed for beginners and intermediate skaters, will be taught by local inline skating expert and enthusiast Cristelo Garza.
Tuition is $25.
The class will include both classroom training and an activity period for inline skating. During the classroom training, participants will learn safety tips and maintenance techniques, plus receive information on the best local spots for inline skating.
Participants will then have an opportunity to learn or perfect their skating technique on a special practice course.
Persons who register for the class must provide their own inline skates and safety equipment.
