Texas A&M International University's Academic Enrichment Center is offering free instructional workshops to help students succeed on the math portion of the Texas Academic Skills Program (TASP).
The free Math TASP workshops will be offered on both Friday and Saturday mornings for the convenience of students. The Official TASP Study Guide will be used.
Schedule for the Math TASP Workshops offered on Friday mornings is as follows: Chapters 14 and 15, March 21; Chapter 16 and 17, April 4; Chapter 18 and 19, April 11; and Chapters 20 and 21, April 18.
Friday morning workshops will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building room 205. Instructor will be Trina Garza.
Schedule for the Saturday morning workshops is: Chapters 14 and 15, March 22; Chapter 16 and 17, April 45; and Chapter 18 and 19, April 12.
Saturday morning workshops will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building room 205. Instructor will be Miguel San Miguel.
Students are asked to pre-register to attend any Math TASP Workshop by calling the Academic Enrichment Center at 326-2130 or by visiting the office located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library Administration Building room 203.
The Academic Enrichment Center is open from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, and 12:00 noon - 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
