If you are interested in exploring how Texas A&M International University
can connect you to the world, consider attending an open house for the
University's newly established Division of International Programs.
The open house will be held Tuesday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
in Pellegrino Hall 300. A ribbon cutting ceremony will also be held at
11 a.m. The event is free and open to the public and refreshments will

The Division of International Programs is composed of three pre-existing
offices and will include the Department of International Student services,
Office of International Education and the International Language Institute.
The Division is lead by Dr. Michael Gold-Biss, assistant vice president
for international programs.
He said the open house is intended to provide visitors with a familiarity
with the diversity of programs available to students and faculty and encourage
them to participate in the division's outreach activities.
"From language study to study abroad and service to international
students, we have a rich array of services that are relevant to all students.
We also have various cooperative affiliation agreements with universities
and colleges around the world that promote closer ties between faculty
and the institution as a whole. We encourage them to visit, explore options
available to them and broaden their horizons to the international possibilities
that TAMIU can make real for them, " Dr. Gold-Biss said.
