Learn to Create Databases
at Non-Credit Certificate Course at TAMIU
Learn to use Microsoft Access to create databases with a non-credit course at Texas A&M International University. The course is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. in Anthony J. and Georgia A. Pellegrino Hall (PH) 221.
Tuition is $250 and $200 for TAMIU employees, students and alumni.
This course is designed for managers, professionals and entrepreneurs who don’t have a database background and are seeking to use Microsoft Access in the most efficient way for day-to-day business tasks. Participants will have the opportunity to create databases from scratch, including database design, an introduction to SQL (a query language to extract data) as well as form and report creation.
Course instructor, Jesús Carmona, is a doctoral student in the MIS concentration of the Ph.D. Program in International Business Administration at TAMIU. His research interests include e-collaboration, software engineering and human-computer interface design. He has more than 15 years experience in the computer field.
