TAMIU Non Profit Excellence Program Sets Third Training April 17

TAMIU Non Profit Excellence
Center Sets Third Training Session

Texas A&M International University’s Texas Center for Border Economic and Enterprise Development (TCBEED) Program for Non-Profit Excellence will present its third training session, “Leadership Awareness and Management Styles,” Thursday April 17, at Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 103 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Jesse Olivarez, program manager for Las Colonias at TCBEED and Manuel Gallegos, CEO for Gallegos & Associates will lead the discussion.

Topics covered include motivation, caring and feeding of volunteers, communication, diversity, and dealing with difficult people.

Session fee is $50, with a 30 percent discount available if registered before April 15. Both continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to all participants.

The Program for Non-Profit Excellence targets providing professional development to the over 440 non-profit, tax exempt organizations in the Webb County area.
