TAMIU offers many opportunities to pursue higher education.
The University’s Maymester is a three-week long session between the Spring semester and Summer Session I. Students attend class Monday through Friday, three hours a day for 15 days, and can only enroll in one Maymester course.
Students who have been admitted to TAMIU are eligible to enroll.
There are a limited number of courses offered for both undergraduates and graduates. Courses are listed in the Summer Session 2008 online schedule.
Opportunities to combine travel and study are also available. Applications are currently being accepted for a trip to Cuernavaca, México, that combines learning and practicing Spanish and academic learning and community services.
This summer, TAMIU will sponsor trips to Granada, Spain, Hong Kong, France, England, Taiwan, México and the Netherlands.
Maymester classes begin May 12 and end May 30.
Summer Session I classes start June 2 and end July 3.
Summer Session II classes meet from July 7 through Aug. 7.
Summer Session III classes begin June 2 and end Aug. 7.
Fall 2008 classes start Aug. 25 and end Dec. 13.
