If you’re interested in a career in law enforcement or criminal justice you will want to attend an open house hosted by the Texas A&M International University College of Arts and Sciences Criminal Justice Master’s Program Wednesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. in Dr. F. M. Canseco Hall (CH), room 101.
There is no charge for this event. Anyone interested in learning more about the program or who need assistance with application requirements should attend.
“The Master of Science in Criminal Justice is a comprehensive program designed to prepare graduate students to actively participate in the development of knowledge in the areas of criminology theory, the administration of justice, ethics and legal studies. It is also designed to prepare students to conduct research in the field of study,” explained Dr. Claudia E. San Miguel, director, criminal justice master’s program.
“The degree is especially beneficial for students already working in the criminal justice system who seek to enhance their professional knowledge and skills as well as those who wish to pursue a doctoral degree,” Dr. San Miguel added.
The Program is designed for non-traditional students who work full-time. Courses are scheduled primarily online. Also, graduate students may choose alternative options to complete their degree through either a non-thesis or thesis plan.
