TAMIU-SBDC Offers Hands-on Workshop on QuickBooks Payroll Process May 1

The Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU-SBDC) will sponsor a hands-on workshop,“How to Process Payroll with QuickBooks Pro” on Friday, May 1, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Dr. Billy F. Cowart Hall, room 113.

This in-depth workshop is for intermediate to advanced users who want to learn more about using QuickBooks in their business.

Instructors Norma Rodríguez, SBDC Business Advisor, will review the payroll process, tax liabilities, and payroll taxes. Workshop fee is $20, and it is recommended for existing businesses.

The Workshop will include the following: setting up for payroll and employee payroll information; running a payroll schedule; tracking tax liabilities and paying payroll taxes.
