TAMIU Holds 'Cancer And Its Impact' Talk April 25
Texas A&M International University, in cooperation with the local chapter
of the American Cancer Society, will offer a talk on 'Cancer and Its Impact'
Thursday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall Room 101 at the University's
north Laredo campus, 5201 University Boulevard. Special guest speaker will
be Dr. Anthony Hall, physician with the Veterans Outpatient Clinic. The talk
is free and members of the community are invited to attend. Dr. Hall will
share statistics on the cancer rates in Texas and Webb County. He will also
discuss the physical, emotional, and financial impact of cancer. Audience
members will have the opportunity to ask questions during a question and
answer period after Dr. HallŐs presentation. Cancer information brochures
and literature detailing the services available from the American Cancer
Society will also be available for audience members. For more
