University Registrar Barbara Lunce encourages all students to take advantage of early registration since tuition and fees do not have to be paid at the time of early registration. "Students who participate in Early Registration have until May 27 to pay tuition and fees for Summer Session I courses, July 1 for Summer Session II courses, and August 16 for Fall 1996 courses," said Lunce.
Emergency Loan monies will also be available before the start of each Summer Session and Fall semester. Information on the emergency loan program or other available financial aid including grants, scholarships, College Work-Study Programs, and loans, may be obtained from the University's Office of Financial Aid, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building Room 155 West. Summer Session I courses at TAMIU begin June 3 and end July 3. Summer Session II courses run from July 8 through August 7. Fall 1996 courses begin August 26. For more information on TAMIU's Early Registration April 1 - May 2, contact the University's Office of the Registrar at 326-2250 or visit offices in Killam Library-Administration Building Room 168 West. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
