TAMIU On-Site Registration at Local and Area High Schools Resumes
Local and area high school students can register for summer or fall courses at Texas A&M International University without leaving their high school campuses during the University's "On-Site Registration" underway through Thursday, May 12.
Gina De La Miyar González, director of recruitment and school relations, said representatives from various TAMIU offices including Admissions, Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, Testing and Housing will guide students through the registration process during On-Site Registration.
González explained TAMIU's registration process will be made available to local and area high schools through sophisticated computer systems that are linked to the University's main campus.
High school students who take advantage of On-Site Registration will be able to select their classes, finalize their course schedule, and receive a printed course schedule, all without leaving their high school campus, according to González.
"This is a 'One Stop Shop' where once registered, all students need to do is attend a freshman orientation this summer and pay tuition and fees," González said.
