TAMIU Offers Social Work Workshop on Ethical Decisions
Social workers interested in continuing their education can sign up for a workshop offered by Texas A&M International University Friday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Western Hemispheric Trade Center 103.
The workshop, sponsored by TAMIU's Social Work Program, will focus on exploring personal beliefs about child abuse and neglect intervention and identifying core values to work with families. The presenter for the workshop, Donna M. Garrett, is an instructor at Our Lady of the Lake University's Worden School of Social Service, a field instructor at Bexar County Juvenile Probation for San Antonio and a facilitator for Protective Services Training Institute in Austin.
