Cheer Squad Camp, Tryouts at University Begin Wednesday

A Mini-Camp and Tryouts for students interested in joining the Texas A&M International University Dustdevil Co-Ed Cheer Squad will be held May 17 - 19, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the University's Kinesiology/Convocation Building.

Mini-Camp fee is $20. Participants will learn a cheer, practice jumps, stunts, and tumbling, plus choreograph their own dance and perform it during Tryouts.

Students who are selected for the Squad will be required to attend scheduled practices and public performances. Cheer Squad members must also participate in no less than 10 hours of community service per month.
