Texas A&M International University honor graduates for the Spring 1998 class have been named.
Honor graduates are those students graduating Cum Laude, with honors; Magna Cum Laude, with high honors, and Summa Cum Laude, with highest honors.
Cum laude graduates must earn a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher, but less than 3.5. Magna cum laude graduates have a final GPA of 3.5 or higher, but less than 3.65. Summa Cum Laude graduates have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.65 or higher.
Honors graduates earning the Bachelor of Arts included:
Cum Laude: Cordelia Ileana Alvarado, Estella Y. Coronado, Yvonne Elizondo, Melody Anne Jeter, Claudia Yazmin Orozco, Cynthia Renee Reyes, Mauro Alfredo Rodriguez and Darlene Sanchez.
Magna Cum Laude: Rosario G. Garza, Carlos G. Perez, Nicole Duncan Vallone.
Summa Cum Laude: Angelica Hinojosa.
Honors Graduates receiving the Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences included:
Cum Laude: Enrique Tomas Lozano.
Magna Cum Laude: Minerva Gonzalez.
Summa Cum Laude: Elsa Avila Flores, Carol Gomez and Beatriz S. Gutierrez.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, was Jean Louis Egremy.
Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting honors graduates included:

Summa Cum Laude: Minerva Ayala.
