Deadline to register for the June assessment of the ACT is Friday, May 10, with late registration for the test continuing through May 24.
ACT registration materials may be obtained from local and area high school counselors. ACT registration materials are also available from the TAMIU Office of Admissions, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building Room 168 West.
"This is the last chance new freshmen students have to take the ACT before Fall semester courses begin. Entering freshmen who do not submit ACT or SAT scores will not be accepted for admission," said Rosillo.
Persons who need more information on TAMIU's admission procedures may call the University's Office of Admissions at 326-2200 or visit offices in Killam Library-Administration Building Room 168 West.
Admissions Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
