TAMIU Signs Umbrella Agreement with UASLP

Texas A&M International University's College of Business Administration and Graduate School of International Trade and Business Administration signed an umbrella agreement with the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi this week.

The umbrella agreement will cover general arrangements for faculty and student exchange, research and degree development, organizers said.

Present to signing the historic accord were TAMIU Interim President Jose Garcia and Dr. Jaime V. Mendez, Rector of the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi.

TAMIU holds a number of similar agreements with universities throughout central and Latin America and Europe.

The University most recently entered into agreements with the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila in Saltillo and the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores (ITESM) of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico.
