TAMIU SBDC Offers Seminar on Legal
Issues for Micro-enterprises July 13

The Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU-SBDC), in conjunction with the Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid Legal Assistance to Microenterprise Project (LAMP) will provide a seminar to assist potential and existing business owners with legal issues on Friday, July 13, 2007 from 1:30-4:30 pm at Casa Ortiz, TAMIU’s downtown campus at 915 Zaragoza.

 The free-of-charge seminar will be conducted by Laredo staff attorney Andrea Beleno and will focus on various legal aspects of the small business.

It will include:

  • Contracts
  • Employment
  • Advertising and promotion laws
  • Taxes
  • Health and safety laws
  • Finance
  • Commercial landlord and tenant laws.
