Texas A&M International University’s bookstore is now just a click away with a new online presence on the University’s main Web page, tamiu.edu.
The online location is available by clicking on “Students” and then “Bookstore,” or by going directly to http://tamiu.bkstore.com/.
The store enables online purchases of new and used textbooks, cash back for books, access to school spirit products, software discounts, a variety of student-oriented specials and a chance to participate in feedback surveys.
Also included are special announcements and sections dedicated to faculty, students and alumni.
Joe García, TAMIU vice president for finance and administration, said the online presence is a natural extension for the University’s bookstore.
“We have a very robust Web site that has become a primary communications medium for both current and potential students. Having an online presence for our University bookstore is a natural extension of our service philosophy. More and more students expect their University Web site to offer a range of relevant services and we are working diligently to make this so,” García said.
The University Bookstore is operated by Barnes and Noble College, Inc. It is located in the Student Center lobby.
Manager for the Bookstore is Socorro Calderón.For additional information, contact Calderón at 326.2080, visit offices in the Student Center, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or click on tamiu.bkstore.com.
