This Fall at Texas A&M International University, senior citizens aged 65 or older can qualify for a waiver of up to six hours of tuition fees.
The exemption represents over a 40% discount on usual tuition expenses.
While other fees such as books, lab fees and special fees still apply, this represents a golden opportunity for senior citizens to enrich their lives with higher education.
Interested seniors must comply with normal admission, registration procedures and course prerequisites.
In order to obtain the tuition waiver, interested seniors must present a valid Texas driver's license or other ID showing date of birth at the Business Office.
