Coming Aug. 7-8
Texas A&M International University freshmen will participate in a special required overnight orientation program targeting the transition from high school to University Thursday and Friday, Aug. 7-8 in the University’s Student Center.
The “Orientation: Academic Anchoring” program focuses on building new student awareness of the University experience and a new academic world. All incoming, first semester freshmen are required to attend either session and be present for the 12 p.m. check-in on the opening. Lunch will not be provided.
The sessions run through 5 p.m. the next day and include all meals and housing.
