For those planning to enroll this Fall 2002 at Texas A&M International University, early registration ends Friday, Aug. 2.
General Registration will be conducted by alphabetical sequence on Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at TAMIU's campus, 5201 University Boulevard. Online registration is available at lasso.tamiu.edu for students meeting requirements.
This Fall, students may register for courses leading to 54 undergraduate or graduate degrees. Returning students should see their faculty advisors for early registration; new transfer students will need to make an appointment with an advisor in the Registrar's Office by calling 956.326.2250.
Entering freshmen must attend orientation on Aug. 14-15 for advisement and registration. The due date for payment of tuition and fees for those who register early is Aug. 22. Students who register early should be aware that registration will not be automatically dropped from the computer system. They must officially drop or withdraw from courses by calling or visiting the Registrar's Office.
Classes begin Monday, August 26.
Late Registration for Fall semester courses continue through 5 p.m. Aug. 30. The last day of Fall classes is Dec. 4 with final exams scheduled Dec. 6-12.
